Which size should I choose?
When you press the Moonloom Disc in the middle to insert it, it’s about the same width as a tampon — but it sits completely differently.
It rests comfortably in the vaginal fornix, just below the cervix, where it collects your flow without pressure or discomfort.
The right size depends mostly on your cervix height, but also on your flow, anatomy, and whether you’ve given birth.
🩷 Moonloom Disc S — best for a low cervix, lighter to medium flow, or if you haven’t given birth vaginally.
🩷 Moonloom Disc L — ideal for a medium to high cervix, heavier flow, or if you’ve given birth vaginally.
You can find out your cervix height yourself:
Wash your hands and gently insert a finger into your vagina until you feel a small, smooth circle — that’s your cervix.
If you can reach it easily, it’s low. If you have to reach deeper or can barely touch it, it’s high.
✨ Your cervix can change position during your cycle — it sits lower during your period and higher around ovulation.
If you’re unsure, you can try both sizes. Many women find that both can feel comfortable, depending on their body and cycle phase.

Great upgrade from menstrual cups
After using menstrual cups for multiple years I decided to try this menstrual disc. I love the fact that it's very comfortable, without the suction feeling, making it almost to easy to forget you are using it. The ring part makes it very easy to remove it.
Ema I.I really love the Moonloom disc!
I've been recommending it to my friends a lot haha. I previously used tampons and pads, then switched to period undies and a cup. Now I use period undies and a disc, even though I wouldn’t even need period panties, but I prefer to be on the safe side. It’s much smoother to insert than the cup. I haven’t had a chance to figure out the auto-dump method yet, but I’m looking forward to trying it. So yeah, definitely disc over a cup!
Sofía R.Love my moonloom. I have two so I can have one clean while one in use. ☺️
Olivia S.Questions
Before youadd to cart.
Which size should I choose?
Not sure? Send us a message before you order and we'll help you pick. That's included with the bundle.
Does it hurt?
No. The disc sits higher than a tampon, behind the pubic bone, so most women don't feel it once it's in place.
Can it get lost inside me?
No. The vagina ends at the cervix, so there's nowhere for the disc to go. The finger notch makes it easy to reach and remove.
Can I sleep with it?
Yes. You can wear it for up to 12 hours, day or night.
Why do I need the sterilizer?
You don't have to boil your disc in a pot any more. Add water, put the disc in, microwave, done. Then fold the sterilizer flat and keep it in a drawer or your bag.
Can I use it with an IUD?
Yes. Make sure your IUD strings are trimmed short so they don't get tugged, and ask your doctor if you have any doubts.
Can I have sex while wearing it?
Yes. The disc sits high, so you can have penetrative sex on your period without the mess.
Can I return it if it doesn't suit me?
For hygiene reasons we can't accept returns of menstrual discs. If something doesn't feel right, write to us and we'll help you get the fit right.
